How do I add a Terms and Conditions or Privacy text option on a Form? – Datacrush Help Center

When creating a form for your website, you may need to add the Terms and Conditions option for contacts to accept.

In this case it is necessary to use anew Property and then modify it from the editing of the form.

The steps for this are:

In 1st instance, we go to the Properties function, from the Contacts menu, once there, we will create a new property from the Create Property button in the left column.

We must then set this property so that you can comply with the option to Accept Terms and Conditions.

For this on the Label we can put the text that we want the Property to have, for example: To continue, you must first accept the Terms and Conditions.

Then in the Field Type we need to select the Checkboxes option, check the option Use on forms? to be able to use it on them and then on the label below add the text of the Checkbox, for example I accept.

Once we have created the property, in 2nd instance we should be able to add this to the form that we already have created.

For this we go to the Forms option in the Contents menu and deploying the group where we added the property previously, in the left column, we drag it to the form on the right.

After this we should be able to edit this property in order to complete the process by clicking on the pencil icon to the right of the pen.

When editing the field, you can modify the text that you want the contact to see, adding what is necessary, for example I have read and accept the terms and conditions from the Label field.

If on the site we already have a section in which the Terms and Conditions are explained in detail, we can add a link to this URL to make it more neat.

For this in the Help Text field we need to add the code and enclosed in the quotes put the URL of the correct section.

After this, if you click on the Preview option at the bottom left of the screen, you can see the finished model of the form with the correct Terms and Conditions option.
